After years of fighting my weight, at my top of 278 I decided I was TIRED of being sick and tired! My BP was up and I was on the line of being a diabetic. Food diets, exercise, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig would work for a little while and then I would just gain it all back plus! After the seminar with Dr. Fitzer and exploring all options of surgery I decided Gastric Bypass was the right option for me. November 20th, 2013 was a life changing day for me! It has been almost 8 months and I am happier and healthier than I have been in years! Best of all, I am a new Grandma with energy to help raise this beautiful little girl! When I turned 50 my physician told me that I should easily live into my 80's. Several of my uncles are now in their late 80's and even into their 90's!! In the winter of 2013 I did not think I would live another year. I had no will to live, no energy etc. I met with Dr Fitzer and her performed surgery on July 19, 2013. Almost a year now, and I am down about 115 pounds and life is looking GREAT! Last month I was in Hershey Park riding roller coasters; next month going to Boston to visit family; and in September it's DISNEY WORLD! Completely different outlook on life!
